Believe it or not

I was caring for a female Lab who was about a year old. I heard that her sister lived nearby and was quite the wildcat. That morning, I was running my boy and along came a Lab that fit the sisters description. Sure enough it was her. What a wild day that was!

Thank goodness you found her before that beautiful chocolate Lab pup was hurt, stolen, or put in the pound...perhaps euthanised if they didn't find her owners in 3 days. What a day that was! But you took her in and cared for her, while trying every contact possible to find the rightful owners... and even then, she was out of town for the day...

The pup had escaped without her collar and tags, and the local shelter has failed to locate implants on some dogs with them. Those things aren't standardized equipment, and the implants can migrate, so they are not worth the risk. This precious wildcat pup was one of the fortunate ones... rescued by YOU!
