Jumping Dogs

Personally I do not like to have a dog jump on me. More often than naught, jumping is a greeting or an excited way of saying welcome home. But in some cases it is about control.

Blocking the dog access to what he wants until he is calm, putting your knee into the dog, and turning your back are many ways that help to stop this behavior.
