Dog And Owner Meet Again

When an owner comes to pick up his dog who has been staying with me I always ask the owner not to pay attention to the dog right away. Especially if the dog was hyperactive.

I remove the dog until he is relaxed and then the owner greets him in a calm way. This helps the dog to stay calm and remember wjat he has been taught instead of going back to his old habits.
